Welcome to Neon, Kentucky, where I first lived when I moved here from Tennessee. Neon has seen it all, from its heyday at the height of the coal boom when hundreds of people would come to town on Saturdays, to the near ghost town it has become in recent years. But the people there are survivors, and I have no doubt they’ll find a way to keep their town alive.
